Qualified escorts assist with errands, appointments and social outings outside the home. Whether it's grocery runs, GP visits, allied-health sessions or community events — we provide door-to-door transport that adapts to your routine, mobility needs and the weather.
Occupational Therapists, Speech Pathologists, Physiotherapists, Psychologists and Counsellors collaborate on your goals. Sessions can run at home, at the centre or via telehealth. We design therapy plans that build skills you actually use, then track progress against the goals you set.
Long-term, 24/7 supported living in shared or solo housing. Trained workers help with daily routines, household tasks and community access while you keep control of your home, your schedule and who you live with.
Short-term accommodation (also called respite) gives carers and families a break, and gives participants a chance to try independent living, build skills and meet new people. We arrange the stay, the support, the transport and the activities.
NCSG offers household assistance for individuals with disabilities or health conditions who can't manage everyday chores independently. Daily, weekly, fortnightly or seasonal — staff use hospital-grade, eco-friendly products. The first appointment includes a full deep clean, then frequency adapts to you. Covers general cleaning, laundry, dishwashing, ironing, yard and house maintenance, and linen.
Highly skilled Community Engagement Practitioners help participants find new ways to take part in community life — clubs, classes, volunteering, employment pathways. The aim is to expand opportunities, not fill calendar slots.
Build everyday skills — cooking, money, public transport, technology, decision-making — with a focus on confidence and long-term independence. Workers go at your pace, with collaborative goal-setting and clear, jargon-free progress checks.
Most homes aren't built for the people who live with disability. Our qualified tradespeople deliver customised accessibility improvements that reduce injury risk and protect independence — ramps replacing stairs, widened doorways, bathroom rails and roll-in layouts, lowered kitchen benches, and smart-home electrics for lights, blinds and outlets.
A standard car may not accommodate every passenger or driver. We arrange and coordinate four kinds of vehicle modifications: rear or side-mounted electric hoists for wheelchairs and scooters, swivel and supported seating, accessible controls (steering-wheel buttons, left-foot accelerator), and remote-operated automatic door systems.
NDIS-registered exercise physiology with qualified Exercise Physiologists. Personalised programs help you self-manage your condition, lift mental health, improve mobility, reduce pain and build independence. We work with you to understand your situation and build long-term strategies — not one-off sessions.
Worker-facilitated and self-directed capacity-building activities — arts and crafts, music, games, kitchen and cooking skills — designed for socialisation, community connection and skill development. National Community Support Group was founded by families and clinicians who'd watched too many participants fall through the gaps. We set out to build a provider that treats every person as an individual — with a coordinator who knows them, a team that stays, and a plan that flexes as life does.
Today we support participants in metropolitan and regional Australia, as an initiative of the UMA group of health and community services. Our work is independent, accredited, and rigorously accountable — but it starts and ends with people.
Formed in 2017 by a passionate group of parents of special-needs children, in conjunction with an experienced and professional team with backgrounds in social work, charity and disability services.
